With the growth of FPV multi-rotor and fixed wing aircraft at the field, the following rules were put in place this year with everyone being informed at the safety meeting.
OCMA utilizes the IMD6C frequency schedule as follows:
a) 5658 (Raceband 1)
b) 5695 (Raceband 2)
c) 5760 (Fatshark 2)
d) 5800 (Fatshark 4) *** this frequency is the assigned channel for any Fixed Wing FPV operation
e) 5880 (Raceband 7)
f) 5917 (Raceband 8)
Digressing to the days when we had a frequency board and pins we have implemented a frequency board at the multi-rotor site that must be used to sign in for any pilot using FPV (both fixed wing and multi-rotor). It is the responsibility of each FPV pilot to not cause damage to another FPV pilots aircraft due to operation on a frequency they have not reserved on the frequency board.
Thanks for your cooperation on this frequency control policy.
